During the early to mid-20th century, art prints and posters were becoming increasingly influential, with artists like 'The Big-Head Man' specialising in striking hand-drawn character portraits using chromo-lithography. A key figure in the printing industry, his nickname stemmed from his distinctive style, specialising in drawing large, expressive portraits of the characters.
